The award winning Christian has had an interesting and varied career in magic:
2008
Christian appeared in the magic of festivals in Spain and 29th Congreso Nacional Mágico Valencia with the Fat Brothers Group. The group also participated in the Days of Magic in Kouvola, Finland. Christian appeared for one week at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and La Plaza de las Artes Theatre in Madrid.
2007
Christian performed magic at festivals in Spain. United States, the Magic Castle and the International Battle of Magicians Convention. Helsinki Virus Theatre, by Magic Studio, he worked as a performer and the program designer.
2006
Christian appeared in the Virus Theatre, sponsored by Magic Studio, and appeared on radio for the lisner's of Radio Vegan. He also appeared in Aparecium magic festival in Spain.
2004
Christian appeared for one week at the famous Magic Castle in the U.S..
He also made a 3-month study and lecture trip to Spain where he studied Spanish card magic.
Travelling with an Honest Charlatan, a magicians documentary about Christian's preparation for FISM 2003.
2000-2001
Magic Castle, a one-week attachment, USA. Christian appeared in The King of Wizards Show, on the Silja ships with Ellen Jokikunnas, Kim Wist (magician), and the juggler Juha Kurvinen.
1998-1999
It was Christian Engblom's brainchild, the MTV3 7-piece television series, the King of Wizards. Metamorphosis magic motion with magicians Tatu Tyni and Heikki Harha at Åbo Svenska Theater, in Turku and the Half-Q theater in Helsinki.
TEACHING ACTIVITIES
Christian has since 2001 lectured for magicians all over the world. In 2008, he joined as visiting lecturers for the Gran Escuela de Magia Ana Tamariz magic school in Madrid.
1997-1999 At the Children's Cultural Center in Turku, Christian gave a one-day course in Magic, for magician's between 5-15 years of age.
EDUCATION
Since 1999, Christian has participated in Las Jornadas de Cartomagia de El Escorial, in Spain (only for invited participants). In 2007, Christian participated in the Turku Art Academy, organized magicians specialized studies. He has also participated in various inprovistional and presentational skill courses with the teachers Kirsti Kuosmanen, Outi Mäenpää, Micke Rejström, Jarmo Luttinen, Avner Eisenberg and Leo Bassi. Christian has graduated from Katedral Skolan, in Turku in 1993.
